Variety description

10 August 2026

The rootstock is a hybrid of cherry plum (Prunus cerasifera) and sloe (Prunus spinosa). It is used in commercial horticulture for grafting European plum varieties, ensuring early entry into fruiting and high yields.

The vigor of the rootstock can vary from low to medium depending on conditions and the scion variety. It is characterized by sensitivity to bacterial canker (Pseudomonas syringae), a tendency to develop frost cracks, and unstable survival in drought conditions.
