The rootstock is semi-vigorous, ensuring uniformity in tree height. It possesses high drought tolerance, heat resistance, and the ability to grow in heavy, waterlogged soils with an excess of lime. The root system withstands temperature drops down to -10…-12 °C. The plant shows resistance to bacterial canker, root rot, and nematodes.
Using this rootstock increases graft take, improves yield, size, and fruit color intensity of grafted trees. Important features include the absence of root suckers and good compatibility with various varieties of plum, cherry plum, peach, and apricot. Disadvantages include weak anchorage, which may cause trees to lean in years with abundant harvests.
