The variety is a natural hybrid between Prunus domestica and other plum species. The primary purpose of the material is its use as a rootstock for stone fruits; however, it exhibits physiological incompatibility with most nectarine varieties and some peach varieties.
The plant is adapted to heavy soils with the possibility of summer irrigation. It is used in scientific research, including in vitro propagation methods, and is included in official catalogs as a technical rootstock not intended for the production of commercial fruit.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
A single variety may be registered in different countries under different names. All records are consolidated into one profile based on the breeder's code—an internal number that is identical for the variety across all registries.
The primary name shown is the one under which the variety is registered in the largest number of jurisdictions. Search finds the variety by any of its names.
Records are sourced from official registry publications. Data sources and legal status
The directory replicates the primary source. If an entry differs from the official publication, please specify the discrepancy and provide a link if possible. Corrections are added to the moderation queue.
