The variety is of accidental origin, discovered in the Valencia region around 1900. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a semi-open crown. The height of a ten-year-old tree reaches 4–6 meters.
Fruits are large, with a diameter of 4.5 to 5.5 cm, possess an elongated shape and a yellow-orange color. The flesh is distinguished by its juiciness, sweetness and aroma, and the fruits are suitable for transport and fresh consumption.
The variety is self-fertile and productive. During cultivation, susceptibility to Monilinia and sensitivity to spring frosts are noted, which can negatively affect yield.
