Variety description

The hybrid was obtained by crossing the sour cherry variety Schattenmorelle and Prunus canescens. It provides a reduction in tree vigor, whereby vigorous varieties reach 35–40% of the size of trees on Mazzard rootstock.

The rootstock possesses high resistance to PDV and PNRSV viruses, is characterized by good compatibility with sweet cherry varieties, and has no tendency to produce root suckers. It contributes to the formation of a wide crown in grafted plants with wide branch attachment angles.
