The tree grows vigorously at a young age, forming a tall pyramidal crown; growth slows with age. Fruits are medium to large in size, pear-shaped, and have yellow-green skin with a red-brown blush on the sunny side. The flesh is white, delicate, juicy, and has a sweet taste.

The variety belongs to the autumn maturity group, with harvest occurring in September–October. The variety is cross-pollinated and requires the presence of pollinators such as 'Conference', 'Williams', or 'Beurré Hardy'.

The variety is characterized by resistance to fire blight; however, in cool regions, it may be susceptible to scab. Winter hardiness is medium, increasing with the age of the tree; the variety prefers warm, wind-protected locations.
