CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is vigorous and forms a large crown. Fruits are small to medium in size, pear-shaped, with yellow-green skin color. The flesh is loose, juicy, with a pleasant, sweet or sweet-sour taste and good aroma.
The variety has an early maturity group; the fruits are not suitable for long-term storage and are intended for fresh consumption. The variety is considered winter hardy, but is susceptible to scab and is not recommended for planting on heavy clay soils.
Pollinator varieties such as Esperens Herre, Clara Frijs, Göteborgs Diamant or Herzogin Elsa are required for fruit production. The name is collective, therefore local forms of early summer pears may be encountered under it.
