The tree has medium growth vigor and forms a pyramidal-spherical crown. Fruiting occurs on spurs and fruit-bearing twigs. The variety enters the fruiting period 3–4 years after planting and provides a yield of about 25–30 t/ha.

The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties such as Williams, Napoca, Daciana, Cure, or Favorita lui Clapp. There is partial compatibility with quince rootstock, which requires the use of an interstock. The tree is sensitive to infestation by pear psylla.

Fruits weighing 120–140 g have a pyriform asymmetrical shape. The skin is greenish-yellow with a red blush covering up to half of the surface and small dots of russeting. The white semi-melting flesh has a balanced taste; the fruits can be stored for up to one month.
