The variety is the result of selective breeding from the local Hungarian Arabitka group of varieties. The fruits have a broad-pyriform or round shape, often growing in clusters. The skin is lemon-yellow, turning golden-yellow when fully ripe; the flesh is white, juicy, and sweetish. The peduncle is thick and fleshy.
The tree in its young age is characterized by very vigorous growth, which slows down after the onset of bearing. The crown is standard, later spreading. The variety enters bearing early and produces abundant yields, but is prone to alternate bearing. Described as a hardy and healthy variety.
