The Angina or Ancina variety is a local Italian pear variety. The tree is included in the National Registry of Fruit Plant Varieties authorized for sale and is recognized as a significant genetic resource.
Microsatellite marker analysis revealed a characteristic three-peak pattern, which confirms that the variety belongs to triploid forms. Detailed morphological descriptions of the fruits, ripening periods, and disease resistance indices are absent in specialized agronomic databases.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
