The variety belongs to the summer pear group. Biological features include a tendency for consecutive parthenocarpy, where fruits form without seeds, as well as the expression of partial self-fertility, the indicators of which may change depending on growing conditions. Phenological observations indicate later flowering times compared to a number of traditional varieties.

In scientific research, the variety is distinguished as a genotype exhibiting resistance to fire blight. Due to the lack of standardized morphological descriptions, the value of the variety in modern agronomy is focused on its use as genetic material for breeding programs.
