The trees have medium to high vigor with a broad pyramidal crown. The variety enters bearing early and is characterized by high, regular yield. It is partially self-fertile; the best pollinators are considered to be Favorita lui Clapp, Williams, and Passe Crassane.

The fruits, weighing about 130 g, have a pear-ovoid shape, a yellow-green ground color with a ruby-red blush and purple stripes. The flesh is white, buttery, and juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety is fairly resistant to frost, but sensitive to scab and fire blight.
