CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is distinguished by medium to above-medium vigor and an open crown type. The variety is not self-fertile; the Williams variety is recommended for pollination. With proper crown formation, it shows resistance to diseases, which allows it to be used in organic farming.
The fruits ripen in September. They are medium-sized, green in color with a red blush on the sunny side. The storage period in refrigerated conditions is about 2.5 months, until the end of November. They are used mainly fresh, as well as for processing, in particular for making jams.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
