The variety was obtained as a result of hybridization using the Untoasă Hardy variety and genetic resources of Pyrus serotina. The fruits have greenish-yellow skin with patches of russeting, white juicy flesh with a dry matter content of about 16% and a balanced taste.

Consumer maturity occurs in the third ten-day period of September — the first ten-day period of October; the fruits are suitable for storage in cold storage chambers. The variety is characterized by a high yield of up to 28–30 t/ha and good compatibility with quince rootstock type A.

The plant possesses resistance to pear scab and fire blight, and also exhibits tolerance to pear psylla, which allows for a reduction in the volume of phytosanitary treatments.
