Pera Angelica di Serrungarina is a traditional local variety of the Marche region. Its fruits are characterized by small size, pronounced aroma and sweetness, and are used fresh and for making preserves. Research on the variety includes adaptation to rootstocks, in particular to the quince BA 29, and the selection of crown training methods.

Angelica Padovana is a winter variety of Italian origin. The tree is medium or vigorous with an oval crown, entering fruit bearing in the 7–8th year. Egg-shaped fruits weighing 140–150 g have a bright yellow color with a dark pink blush. The flesh is firm and juicy; the variety possesses medium winter hardiness and medium resistance to scab.
