CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety is an early autumn type, with fruits ripening in mid-September. They have an elongated-oval shape; the skin is rather thick, oily, lemon-yellow or golden in color with speckles and patches of russeting. The flesh is white, tender, and classified as melting.
The tree is characterized by good productivity and is suitable for training as a bush on quince rootstock. Due to the requirements of the variety, double grafting using an intermediate rootstock was sometimes employed during propagation. The variety is traditionally used as a dessert pear.
