The tree is characterized by moderate growth, reaching a height of 5 to 10 meters depending on the rootstock. The fruits are medium to large in size, pear-shaped, and often have a bumpy surface. Upon ripening, the skin becomes lemon-yellow, sometimes with a red blush.

The variety is a summer type; harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in late August — early September. The fruits have high attachment strength to the fruit stalks. The plant is self-infertile, poorly compatible with quince rootstock, has medium to low winter hardiness, and is susceptible to scab in high humidity conditions.
