The 'Curé' variety is a vigorous tree with a spreading crown. The fruits are characterized by a large size, a pyriform asymmetrical shape, and a smooth greenish-yellow skin, sometimes with a blush. A characteristic morphological feature is the presence of a thin russet line running from the peduncle to the calyx.

The variety is historical, widely distributed in European orchards under various names. In an agrotechnical context, it is classified as a winter variety, intended primarily for processing and culinary use, although it is also suitable for fresh consumption. The plant is susceptible to pear rust.
