The tree can reach 7–10 meters in height on vigorous rootstocks; on dwarfing rootstocks, it grows from 2 to 5 meters. The crown has a sparse, spreading shape.

Fruits are small or medium in size, often of irregular shape. The skin is dull yellow or greenish, often with russeting and a red blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, very juicy, with a wine-like and sweet flavor. The variety is suitable for long-term storage, fresh consumption, and culinary processing.

The variety is not sensitive to frost, but is demanding regarding growing conditions.
