The tree has medium to high vigor, forming a pyramidal or rounded crown. The variety flowers early and begins bearing fruit in the second year after planting; it is highly compatible with quince rootstocks.

The fruits are of medium size, weighing 150–200 g, sometimes up to 250 g, and have a pear shape. The thin skin changes color from greenish-yellow to light yellow with a pink blush upon full ripening.

The white flesh is characterized as very juicy and tender, with a sweet and sour taste. The variety is sensitive to late spring frosts, relatively resistant to major diseases, but moderately susceptible to fire blight.
