The tree is vigorous, prone to biennial bearing, and is characterized by high yield. Flowering is medium or medium-late; flowers are large, up to 5 cm in diameter, with a pinkish tint to the petals.

The fruits are very large, of round-globular, turbinate shape. The skin is thick and coarse, yellow-green in color, and acquires a golden hue and a faint orange blush upon ripening. The flesh is dense, medium-grained, and has an astringent taste when fresh.

Harvesting is carried out in mid-October. The variety has good keeping quality; the fruits can be stored until April. The variety is intended for culinary processing, as the flesh turns red and acquires a pleasant taste when boiled or baked.
