The tree is characterized as vigorous and strong-growing, forming a narrow pyramidal crown. The variety ripens in late August to early September and may be characterized by irregular bearing. The plant possesses high adaptability to various climatic conditions, enduring both cold winters and a warm climate.

The fruits have a shape close to ovate. The skin is green; upon ripening, a reddish blush appears on the sunny side. The greenish-white flesh has a pleasant aroma and slight acidity. The variety is often used in horticulture as a pollinator for other pear varieties and as an interstock when grafting onto quince.
