The variety is an early summer type; harvest and consumer maturity occur from mid-July to early August. The tree is characterized by early and abundant fruiting, which may slow growth, and is classified as weak- to medium-growing. It possesses good winter hardiness and adaptability to various soils, preferring nutritious and moist sites.

The fruits are small to medium in size, with a variable shape ranging from round to short-pyriform. The skin becomes pale yellow with a reddish-orange blush upon ripening. The flesh is white, juicy, and ranges from soft to semi-melting, with a pleasant sweet taste. The shelf life of the fruits is very short; they quickly become mealy when overripe. The variety can be affected by scab.
