The Citronka tree can have both an upright and a spreading crown shape. One of the distinctive features is a short fruit stalk about 17.40 mm long, which contributes to the firm retention of fruits on the branches.

The variety is considered autochthonous and is sometimes classified as a Kieffer seedling. During cultivation, good compatibility with the vegetative rootstock BA 29 was noted. The fruits of this variety are suitable for fresh consumption and for processing, in particular for drying.
