The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 4–6 meters, sometimes up to 8 meters depending on the rootstock. The crown of a young tree is directed upwards, eventually becoming spreading and requiring regular pruning to prevent bare branches.

The fruits are of medium or large size, with a regular pear shape, straw-yellow in color with a reddish blush. The flesh is white, juicy, and buttery, possessing a sweet taste with a slight acidity. The variety is a summer type, ripening in the first half of August.

The variety is self-sterile and needs pollinators. It is characterized by winter hardiness, while exhibiting medium susceptibility to fire blight. The fruits are not suitable for long-term storage and require harvesting before full maturity to avoid over-ripening of the flesh.
