CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety is late-autumn, fruit harvest falls on the beginning of October, and the storage period lasts until December. Trees are medium-sized with a compact, columnar spur-type crown. Grafting onto the BA-29 quince rootstock allows for limiting tree height to within 3–4 meters.
Fruits are large, with a weight of 200–400 g, broad-pear-shaped. The skin is green-yellow with a pink-red blush. The flesh is buttery, juicy, and tender, distinguished by a sweet taste and almond aroma.
The variety possesses good winter hardiness and resistance to diseases, including scab and fire blight. Due to its compact habit, it is suitable for cultivation in industrial orchards, as well as on balconies and terraces.
