Fruits are small or medium-sized, egg-shaped. The light green skin becomes yellow at harvest time, often with a red blush on the sunny side. The flesh is white, tender, sweet to the taste, and may acquire a mealy consistency when overripe.

The variety is very early, fruits ripen from mid-July to early August and are intended for quick consumption due to low keeping quality. The tree is most often trained on a high trunk. The variety is used in breeding as a parent form.
