The variety is a seedling of the variety «Леон Леклер де Лавал», obtained through open pollination. The tree can be vigorous or medium-vigorous depending on the rootstock, reaching a height of 2 to 8 meters. The crown changes shape over time from narrowly pyramidal to broadly pyramidal or spreading.
Fruits are medium or large in size with a weight of 150–200 g, sometimes up to 300 g. The skin is greenish-yellow in color, often covered with russeting. The flesh is buttery, juicy, sweet, with a distinct aroma. Fruits ripen in September and are suitable for storage in a refrigerator for up to 3–4 months.
The variety shows relative resistance to scab with average winter hardiness, which makes it suitable for cultivation in regions with a mild climate. It is used in commercial and home gardening, and also serves as a good pollinator for other pears.
