The tree is moderately vigorous, with a compact spreading crown, bearing fruit on spurs. The variety is a triploid and self-incompatible. Fruits are medium to large, round-pyriform or broadly pyriform in shape, with a coarse light-green skin that turns yellow upon ripening, covered with a red blush and large russet dots.

The flesh is white, juicy, crisp, with a pleasant acidic taste, sometimes with distinct graininess. Harvesting takes place in September; the consumption period covers September and October. The variety is predominantly found in pomological literature of past centuries and genetic collections.
