CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is medium-sized, has a pyramidal crown with thin drooping branches. Fruits are large, weighing 250–350 g, and reach 600–800 g with good care. The fruit shape is conical or rounded-pyriform, the surface may be bumpy.
The skin is dark yellow with a golden tint, slight blush, and russeting. The flesh is creamy white, juicy, and sweet with a slight acidity. Fruits ripen in September–October and are distinguished by good transportability.
The variety possesses high regular yield. Data on frost and disease resistance are contradictory; susceptibility to scab and fire blight is noted. The tree does not require excessive pruning.
