The variety is an autumn one; the harvest is collected in September – early October. The tree may show signs of being both low-growing with a narrow-pyramidal crown and vigorous with a spreading crown, while good compatibility with quince is noted. The variety is considered relatively thermophilic and demanding of wind-protected growing sites.
The fruits have a variable, often truncated-pyriform, lumpy and ribbed shape. The fruit weight varies from 250 to 500 g, sometimes reaching 800 g. The flesh is white or cream, tender, juicy and melting, with a dessert sweet taste, light acidity and a pleasant aroma. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing.
Data on disease resistance are contradictory: some sources indicate high resistance to scab and fire blight, while other sources note strong susceptibility to scab and damage by the codling moth. The variety is self-sterile and requires the planting of pollinator trees.
