The tree of this variety is characterized by vigorous growth and a semi-upright or obtuse-conical crown. It is capable of regular fruit spur formation and possesses good overall resistance. When grown on quince rootstocks, an intermediate graft may be required to ensure compatibility.
The fruits are large in size with a characteristic bell shape, widening toward the base. Their firm skin is pale yellow in color and often has a reddish blush on the sun-exposed side. The juicy flesh is of dessert quality; the fruits ripen late and require a storage period.
