The tree is vigorous, with a dense pyramidal crown. The fruits have a short, pear-shaped, slightly asymmetrical form and reach a mass of 170–250 g (up to 400 g on quince rootstock). The skin is smooth, greenish-yellow, often with a reddish-brown blush and russet dots. The flesh is white, juicy, and possesses a pronounced aroma and sweet-and-sour taste.

Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in late September — October, consumer maturity in October–November. The tree is moderately winter-hardy, relatively resistant to scab, but can be affected by fire blight and viruses. Yield is medium, with a tendency toward alternate bearing. The variety is self-incompatible; the best pollinators are Conference, Williams, and Concord.
