Fruits have a pear shape and thin, smooth skin that changes color from bright green to straw yellow. The flesh is cream-yellow, juicy, of a melting consistency, and possesses a sweet and sour taste and aroma.
The plant is weak-growing, forming a narrow pyramidal crown with medium branching. The variety requires fertile soils, warm climatic conditions, regular irrigation, and intensive pruning, while exhibiting good compatibility with quince as a rootstock.
The variety is characterized by high susceptibility to fire blight, medium susceptibility to scab and pear psylla, and susceptibility to gray mold. During fruit storage, physiological disorders in the form of flesh browning are possible.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
