The tree of this variety forms a cone-shaped crown and on vigorous rootstocks can reach 8 meters in height. The variety is demanding of soil conditions, prefers deep fertile loams, and is sensitive to drought and windy sites. It is considered a poor pollinator.
The fruits have a cone shape, a yellow-green matte skin with russet dots and a characteristic russet netting pattern. The whitish flesh has a buttery consistency and a sweet-sour taste. Fruit harvest takes place in the first half of October; the consumption period begins in November.
The variety is characterized by a relatively early onset of bearing, occurring up to 5 years after planting. Trees are distinguished by good winter hardiness and low susceptibility to scab and moniliosis.
