The tree has medium vigor, with growth slowing down upon entering full fruit-bearing. It forms a wide crown resembling that of an apple tree. The variety requires warm, sheltered planting sites, is well-suited for training as an espalier, and requires adequate moisture and nutrient supply.

Fruits are small and flattened in shape. Harvest maturity occurs in October; the consumption period lasts from January to March-April. Under favorable conditions, the flesh is juicy, melting, and aromatic, although with insufficient care or on suboptimal soils, it may become granular, bland, or contain stone cells.

The variety is considered relatively resistant to scab and robust. It is classified as a dessert and culinary variety for long-term storage. Notably, this variety has been used in breeding programs as a parent form for developing other varieties.
