CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety ripens approximately a week after the Williams variety. The fruits are distinguished by their large size, with most of their surface covered by a characteristic brownish coating (russeting).
The variety has good yield, however, several publications note mixed results regarding productivity and pomological qualities in the conditions of Central and Northern Italy, while there is some potential in the southern regions. In the documentation of the Emilia-Romagna region, the variety is classified as susceptible to leaf and fruit spot.
