The variety is the result of crossing Bosc and President Drouard varieties. The tree has medium vigor and is highly compatible with quince rootstock. The crown is less spreading than that of the Lukashovka variety.
The fruits are large, pear-shaped or elongated-conical, yellow-green in color with a possible orange or yellow-brown blush. The flesh is creamy white, juicy, buttery, with a sweet-and-sour taste and a pleasant aroma.
Harvest maturity occurs in the first half of October, consumer maturity in late December or January. The fruits are suitable for long-term storage until March. The variety shows resistance to scab and medium winter hardiness, while the flowers are sensitive to late spring frosts.
