The tree is of medium vigor, forming a broad crown reminiscent of an apple tree, and is suitable for cultivation on trellises. The fruits are of medium size, dull yellow in color, with large lenticels and patches of russeting. The flesh is yellowish-white and becomes buttery and sweet under favorable conditions.

The variety is classified as a winter variety, requiring warm, well-fertilized soils and protected planting sites. With insufficient care or a lack of heat, the fruits may become granular and lose flavor. The variety is considered resistant to scab and is used primarily in private gardening.
