The variety was obtained as a result of interspecific hybridization (Pyrus serotina × Olivier de Serres) × Doyenné d’Hiver. The tree has medium vigor and bears fruit primarily on short shoots. The productivity of the variety is 20–25 t/ha.
Fruits of medium size weighing 130–150 g have an ovate shape, thin smooth skin of a yellow-green color with a reddish tint. The variety has good keeping quality and is used in breeding programs as a parent form for creating resistant varieties.
