CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is vigorous, reaches 5–5.5 m in height, and has a spreading crown. The variety is self-incompatible and is noted for stable yields.
Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 130–150 g, and have an elongated pear or bottle shape. Upon ripening, the skin changes color from yellowish-green to bright yellow and becomes covered with reddish lenticels. The flesh is firm, crisp, white, and juicy, with spicy notes and a slight acidity.
Harvest time falls in late August — September. After harvest, the fruits require a storage period to develop their flavor qualities, as they may show a slight astringent tartness immediately after picking. The variety is intended primarily for fresh consumption.
