The variety forms large, long-lived trees with vigorous growth, typical for landscape orchards. The plant is characterized by high resistance to scab, as well as to damage to flowers and wood by low temperatures. After the crown formation period, the trees require practically no pruning.

The fruits ripen from mid-August to early September. The flesh is spicy-sweet, but quickly becomes mealy and loses its flavor, so the harvest is not suitable for long-term storage. The fruits are primarily raw material for processing: they are suitable for drying, baking, and making pear concentrate.
