CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The fruits of the variety are small, reaching 50 mm in height and 40 mm in width, with a weight from 30 to 60 grams. The fruit shape is regular pear-shaped; the skin becomes straw-yellow upon ripening, sometimes with a blush. The flesh is white, fragrant and juicy, but prone to losing juiciness quickly during storage.
The variety ripens in the second half of July or early August. The tree develops successfully on both pear seedlings and quince rootstocks, preferring moderately moist soils. For cross-pollination, the varieties Вильямс, Beurre Giffard, Mézes and Köcsög körte are recommended.
The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and brandy production. The variety is undemanding regarding soil conditions; it is recommended to place plantings in sunny areas to ensure canopy ventilation.
