The variety is an autumn one; fruits reach harvest maturity in September and consumer maturity in October. The tree is of medium vigor, typically reaching 3–4 meters in height, with a broad-pyramidal, often asymmetrical crown. The variety is demanding of soil conditions and requires warmth.
Fruits are medium or large, with an elongated bottle shape. The skin is rough, dry, yellow-green in color, and covered with a rusty net. The flesh is whitish-yellow, sweet, and possesses a delicate aroma. The variety is prone to fire blight and blossom blight; during high yields, the branches require support.
