CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree of this variety is characterized by vigorous growth and an upright branching habit. Thorns may form on young branches, which complicates crown maintenance and fruit harvesting.
The fruits are small, weighing about 80 g, and have a pear shape. Upon ripening, which occurs at the end of June to July, the flesh becomes white and crunchy.
The variety has low keeping quality; the fruits require rapid commercialization and are prone to dropping when reaching full maturity. The crop is characterized by high sensitivity to diseases, particularly to fruit spot caused by Septoria pyricola.
