Trees are medium-sized or vigorous, reaching a height of 5–6 meters, and have a densely leafy broad-pyramidal crown. The variety is self-fertile, serves as a pollinator for other pears, and is highly compatible with quince rootstocks.

Fruits are of medium size, weighing 140–180 g, and have an elongated pear-like or bottle-like shape. The skin is greenish-yellow with characteristic golden-brown russeting. The flesh is cream or pinkish-cream colored, buttery, juicy, and sweet.

The variety belongs to the autumn group, with harvest occurring in September – early October. It is characterized by relative resistance to scab. Fruits are intended for fresh consumption, commercial orcharding, and processing.
