The Konvert tree has weak to medium vigor, forming a semi-upright canopy with medium branching. Fruiting occurs primarily on short fruiting wood.
Fruits are medium-sized, slightly asymmetric, and have a concave or calyx-expanding shape. The ground skin color is greenish-yellow; there is no blush. The skin is thick and coarse, with the surface heavily covered with russeting.
The variety is intended for professional horticulture. Specialists recommend using pear seedlings as rootstock to form strong standard trees. The variety is also used in breeding programs and as a pollinator.
