The tree is medium to vigorous, reaching a height of 3–5 meters, forming a dense crown of broad-pyramidal or cone-shaped form. The variety is precocious, entering fruiting in the 3–6th year, exhibits a capacity for parthenocarpy, and is well-compatible with quince rootstocks.

The fruits have an elongated-pear-shaped asymmetric form. The skin is firm, greenish-yellow in color, often covered with a golden-brown russet. The flesh is of a cream or pinkish hue, juicy, sweet, with a distinct aroma.

The variety belongs to the autumn group; harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in mid- or late September. It possesses good winter hardiness down to -34°C and relative resistance to scab, however, it is sensitive to leaf desiccation.
