The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 8–12 meters. The crown has an oval shape with branches directed obliquely or steeply upward. The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness and high drought resistance. Data regarding resistance to scab are contradictory in sources.

The fruits are of medium size, weighing 80–100 g, sometimes up to 180 g, and have a regular pear shape. The skin is shiny, greenish-yellow with a dark pink or brownish-red blush. The flesh is white or yellowish-white, melting, sweet with a slight acidity and aroma. The fruits ripen in mid-September and are suitable for transportation and storage for up to one month.

The variety is dual-purpose (table and industrial); the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, drying, and culinary processing. The tree is often used for top-grafting onto the crowns of other trees.
