The tree of the variety is low-vigor and has a spreading crown. The ripening period occurs in early to mid-autumn, the consumption period of the fruits lasts from October to November. The variety enters into fruit-bearing slowly and produces irregular yields.

The fruits are of medium size and have an elongated-oval or pear-like shape. The golden-yellow skin is covered with areas of brown russeting. The flesh is white, tender, slightly grainy, very juicy, and distinguished by a wine-like flavor nuance.

The variety is considered partially self-fertile; to increase yield, the presence of pollinator varieties is recommended. The tree is capable of forming up to 17–18 flowers in a single inflorescence, which contributes to the preservation of part of the crop under unfavorable weather conditions.
